Many years ago, massive stone castle stood on top of a green hill. This was the Whispering Castle. A young guard named William walked slowly along the high stone walls every night. His job was to protect the castle and the King’s gold. William was a man of honor; he always followed the rules.

منذ سنواتٍ طويلة، كانت هناك قلعة حجرية ضخمة تقع على قمة تلٍ أخضر. وكانت تُعرف باسم القلعة الهامسة. وكان حارسٌ شاب يُدعى ويليام يسير ببطء فوق الأسوار الحجرية العالية كل ليلة. وكانت مهمته أن يحمي القلعة وذهب الملك. وكان ويليام رجلًا شريفًا؛ وكان يلتزم دائمًا بالقوانين.
One cold midnight, William heard a strange noise near the royal library. He quickly grabbed his torch and walked down the dark, narrow hallway. The heavy wooden door of the library was open. William stepped inside and saw a shadow. A person in a black cloak was searching through the dusty books. "Stop!" William shouted, holding his sword. "You are a thief!"

The intruder turned around. It was not a dangerous criminal, but a young woman. Her hands were shaking with fear. She did not have any gold or jewels. She only held an old medical book.

We need the secret medicine inside this book to save the children. I have no money to buy it." William stared at her. He knew the law: thieves must go to prison. But he also looked at her eyes and saw her honesty. She was brave, and her heart was pure.

William thought about his duty and his morals. True honor meant doing the right thing, not just following orders. William lowered his sword. He took the book and walked Elena safely out of the hidden castle gate. "Go," he whispered. "Save your people." Elena thanked him with tears in her eyes. William returned to his post under the stars. He knew he broke a rule, but he felt a deep peace. He chose kindness over gold.
فكر ويليام في واجبه وفي مبادئه. وأدرك أن الشرف الحقيقي يعني أن تفعل الصواب, وليس مجرد اتباع الأوامر. فأنزل سيفه، وأخذ الكتاب، ثم رافق إيلينا بأمان حتى خرجت من البوابة السرية للقلعة. وقال لها بصوتٍ خافت: "اذهبي... وأنقذي شعبك." شكرت إيلينا ويليام والدموع تملأ عينيها. ثم عاد ويليام إلى موقع حراسته تحت ضوء النجوم. وكان يعلم أنه خالف إحدى القواعد، لكنه شعر براحةٍ عميقة. لقد اختار الرحمة بدلًا من الذهب.

بدل ما نستخدم الصفة العادية البسيطة، في الإنجليزية المتقدمة والقصص بنستخدم تركيب يعطي فخامة وعمق رائع للجملة:
- الطريقة العادية التقليدية: الفاعل + verb to be + الصفة.
مثال: The guard is honest. (الحارس أمين) - الطريقة الكرييتف الفخمة: الفاعل + verb to be + a man of / a person of + الاسم المجرد من الصفة.
مثال: He is a man of honor. (إنه رجل ذو شرف وأمانة)
