The Girl Who Broke the Ice Spell
The wind was cold, and the house felt too quiet. Lina missed her parents. One day, she opened an old wooden wardrobe in her room. Inside, she saw coats, but behind them… snow. Real snow.
Lina stepped inside. Crunch, crunch. Her feet touched the white ground. The air was icy, and tall trees stood around her. It was a forest. Everything was silent, like a dream. Soon, she met a small, kind creature named Brin. He had horns and a warm scarf. “Welcome,” he said softly. “This land is under a long winter. A cruel Queen uses magic to keep it always cold.”
Lina felt afraid, but also brave. “Can we help?” she asked. Brin smiled. “There is hope. The old stories say a brave heart can break the spell.” They walked through the snowy forest. They saw frozen rivers, dark trees, and statues of animals turned to stone. Lina touched one statue and whispered, “I will help you.” Suddenly, a cold wind blew. The Queen appeared. Her eyes were sharp like ice. “Why are you here?” she asked.
Lina’s voice shook, but she stood strong. “This land needs spring, not fear.” The Queen laughed. “You are small.” But Lina remembered her home, her love, and her courage. She stepped forward. The ground began to shake. The snow started to melt. A warm light filled the forest. The Queen’s magic broke. The statues moved again. Rivers flowed. Birds sang. Spring came at last. Brin smiled with joy. “You did it.” 
Lina looked around, her heart full. Then she stepped back into the wardrobe. When she returned home, the room was quiet again. But she was different now—braver, stronger, and full of wonder. And sometimes, when the wind is cold, she can still feel the magic calling her back.
